Arlington, TEXAS – The Association of Marketing & Communications Professionals has announced the winners of the 2013 MarCom Awards, selecting the international partnership of Washington DC-based Bryant Zamberlan Group and London-based TMF Marketing as the recipient of a 2013 Platinum Marketing Award for exemplary multi-country, multi-language marketing and public relations efforts.

The AMCP honored BZ and TMF’s leadership, creativity, and budgetary stewardship in helming the marketing and public relations components of the launch of IDIS Global’s DirectIP security suite and protocols for the European market.  This included all aspects of an integrated roll-out effort, from strategic planning of marketing and PR efforts, through tactical, on-the-ground efforts, and spokesperson/host and event management work at one of the region’s largest security trade shows, IFSEC Global, in Birmingham, England.

Additionally, the AMCP recognized BZ founder Benjamin Bryant with an additional MarCom Award for his exceptional efforts offering context and information to the public in the immediate wake of the  2013 Navy Yard mass shooting.

About the MarCom Awards
The MarCom Awards are an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals. Entries come from corporate marketing and communications departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies, and freelancers. The competition has grown to arguably the largest of its kind in the world. A look at the winners shows a range in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies. The 2011 competition included more than 6,000 entries from around the world. Approximately 18% of entrants were awarded Platinum and Gold MarCom awards, respectively. An additional 10% were given Honorable Mention honors.

The MarCom Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production and free-lance professionals. AMCP oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges and rewards outstanding achievement and service to the profession. As part of its mission, AMCP fosters and supports the efforts of creative professionals who contribute their unique talents to public service and charitable organizations, and does not charge entry fees for work produced pro bono. AMCP judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
