2011 Platinum MarCom Award

MarCom Platinum Award

Arlington, November 7, 2011 – The Association of Marketing & Communications Professionals announced the winners list for the 2011 MarCom Awards competition. The AMCP named Bryant Zamberlan Group, LLC winner of three 2011 MarCom Awards: one Platinum MarCom Award and two Gold MarCom Awards for work for the Wounded Warrior Pain Care Initiative at the Walter Reed Military Medical Center, a Texas-based Association, and government contractor Knowledge Advantage, Inc.

Additionally, the AMCP recognized BZ founders Benjamin Bryant and Tommy Zamberlan with a special category Platinum MarCom Award for their work as editors of the Department of Defense’s high-profile “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” reports for Congress and the President of the United States.
“It is always an honor to have the work of the BZ team recognized with an industry award,” noted Benjamin Bryant, President/CEO and founding partner. “BZ promises our clients products and service as good or better than can those offered by our larger competitors. When the quality and effectiveness of our work—particularly work in such core areas as communications strategy, branding, and graphic design—is recognized by industry peers and experts, it is both humbling and validating for our incredibly hard-working team. It means we’re successfully following through on that promise.”

About the MarCom Awards
The MarCom Awards are an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals. Entries come from corporate marketing and communications departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies, and freelancers. The competition has grown to arguably the largest of its kind in the world. A look at the winners shows a range in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies. The 2011 competition included more than 6,000 entries from around the world. Approximately 18% of entrants were awarded Platinum and Gold MarCom awards, respectively. An additional 10% were given Honorable Mention honors.

The MarCom Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production and free-lance professionals. AMCP oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges and rewards outstanding achievement and service to the profession. As part of its mission, AMCP fosters and supports the efforts of creative professionals who contribute their unique talents to public service and charitable organizations, and does not charge entry fees for work produced pro bono. AMCP judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
